Romatex manufactures a range of textiles and homeware at its factory in Cape Town. We are a major producer and supplier of stitch-bonded non-woven material, which makes up about 60% of our business, however, we also manufacture other products too. These include bed linens, pillows, duvets and mattress protectors.
We manufacture products for various industries, including the hospitality sector. Romatex has been manufacturing products for hotels, lodges, B&Bs and guesthouses for many years. As such, we launched a dedicated hospitality division in 2013 to service this particular industry. Our product ranges include both natural and synthetic fibre products.

We manufacture a full range of homeware
Our linens and bedroom textiles range from high thread count 100% cotton to easy-care polycotton blends. These are offered as plain or printed linens. Our in-house design studio stays abreast of trends and seasonal design changes.
In addition, we have the manufacturing capability to produce natural and synthetic pillows and duvets with duck downs, feathers, micro fibre, puffball, spiral fibre or hollow fibre fillings. The outer casings for our pillows can be made from 100% cotton, a 50/50 polycotton blend, microfibre or stitch-bonded non-woven material. The same fillings and casings are also available on our duvets.
